infrared light therapy
Infrared light therapy (also known as Photobiomodulation) has many scientifically proven health benefits. Feel the warmth sink into your skin and muscles easing your aches and pains
What is Infrared Light Therapy?
ILT is a natural, non-invasive and painless infrared light therapy, also known as Low-Level Laser (LLLT) and photobiomodulation that we experience as heat. Infrared light is the invisible part of the sun’s light spectrum. It’s the warmth you feel on your skin when you lay in the sun on the beach but without the skin-damaging UV radiation.
Did you know that infrared rays are so safe that it’s used to warm babies in the NICU?
How Does It Work?
Infrared light (IL) penetrates deep into your body to the inner layers of your skin and your muscles, nerves, and bones. Research completed over the past few decades has proven that the right light frequency provides a powerful healing boost to your body on a cellular level.
The IL boosts local blood circulation that brings more healing nutrients and pain-relieving components to the area while promoting relaxation.
You lie on warm pads incorporated with LED infra-red lights, and more pads are placed on top of you. Despite being heated, the heat does not make you sweat and is soothing and relaxing. These infrared warming pads help reduce body inflammation, thereby offering relief to those who suffer from chronic pain.
We also include Transformational Guided Imagery (TGI), a relaxation system that calms the mind and body, decreases blood pressure and slows down your heart rate, creating an ideal state of mind for healing, learning and focusing on your goals.
Finally, the process concludes with a full body vibration that offers benefits such as enhanced muscle strength, improved balance, and stability, boosted metabolism, and increased bone density, among many others.
